WeFF – a Weaving and Fiber Festival

WeFF is the nickname for the Southern California Handweavers’ Guild annual Weaving and Fiber Festival—a celebration of all things fiber and textile related.

Featuring a select group of top fiber-arts vendors, WeFF is an opportunity to examine and shop wonderful yarns and weaving-related equipment. The guild also offers a Weftover sale of donated yarn, equipment, and books at drastically reduced prices. In addition, the day includes a silent auction and a raffle of fantastic fiber prizes.

Guests can watch members demonstrate various kinds of looms and experiment with weaving themselves—or take a workshop on weaving, dyeing, knitting, or other fiber arts.

Members' work is for sale in a special boutique, displayed in our annual Guild Challenge exhibit, and featured in the always-popular fashion show. The Stella Award is presented to the member whose response to the Guild Challenge best exemplifies the exuberance, humor, and positive attitude of the late Stella Goren, an enthusiastic SCHG member.
