SCHG member Shelly Thompson loves to make usable items out of her handwoven fabrics from her own drafted patterns. In this workshop you will learn how to draft a pattern for a tote or caddy using your handwoven fabrics and your design or you may use her pattern to make your own tool caddy or tote.

Class Requirements:

Participants need to know how to sew on a sewing machine.  Materials needed are a sewing machine, iron and board (or a thick towel), rotary cutter, mat, and ruler.  20” X 36” handwoven fabric (if using Shelly’s design), 1.5 yard of cotton quilt fabric and sewing notions.  A list of notions will be emailed to participants before class.

Materials Fee Payable to the Instructor:

$30. Includes stabilizer, webbing, rings, and interfacing for Shelly’s pattern.
