BUNNIES, BEARS & BIBS ! ! !
with Kathleen Waln
Sunday August 25, 2024 - 9am – 4pm
at Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Before she sails away to fiber paradise in the Pacific Northwest, Kathleen Waln will share her expertise sewing bunnies, bears and bibs from hand woven cloth. These are the same huggable creatures that have been raffled, sold and generally adored at previous WEFFs. The goal is to build our expertise so we can continue to create these adorable critters from the cloth woven at our demonstrations.
Kathleen will share the patterns, demonstrate how to stabilize and then cut out the handwoven fabric pieces so participants can do the actual sewing at their own pace in their own homes. Kathleen will demonstrate sewing together one critter which she will have pre-cut at home to share tips and tricks. We eliminated the sewing to keep the workshop to a single day, so NO need to carry your sewing machine.
