For Saturday workshop:
Introduction to Sashiko for Beginners
1. What is Sashiko?

3. What You Need to Start Sashiko
4. Sashiko Styles/Patterns
5. What can we make with Sashiko/what can we use Sashiko for?
6. Choosing fabric, needles, and threads for Sashiko
7. Preparing Sashiko threads from a skein with a paper band and thread length
8. Preparing Sarashi fabric (explaining what Sarashi fabric is)
9. Practicing Running Stitches Free Hand over Sarashi fabric
10. Draw Squares/Grids over Sarashi fabric
11. Stitche Hitomezashi Sashiko Stitches: Komezashi
12. How to start, end, and connect threads for beginners
13. Learn the Itokoki
If participants could not finish all the stitches for Sashiko/Komazashi, they need to finish them at home if they can and bring them the following day.
